SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY

Flying safely

It’s one thing to put a drone in the air. It’s another thing to do it safely.

Licensed drone pilots spend hours learning all the CASA regulations – rules that were established to keep both people and air space safe. They know how weather, wind speed and other conditions can effect flights – a licensed drone pilot makes safety a priority.

Did you know that a drone can actually fly away on its own? This is obviously very dangerous! When you hire our commercial drone pilots, we have a professional responsibility to follow the CASA rules and regulations. Many recreational drone operators don’t even realise they’re flying in controlled airspace – and there are strict penalties in place for those that break the rules.

Our pilots know where, when and how high to can fly. We know how to get permission to fly in different classes of air space if required.

Insurance

Being insured for public liability is a necessity when flying a Drone. It ensures that drone pilots remain professional and credible at all times, despite the fact that the law does not currently require commercial drone operators to carry insurance.

If you hire an uninsured or amateur drone operator, you’re putting yourself, your company and others at risk.

We are insured up to $20m.

CASA

Civil Aviation Service Australia

CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) is the professional body that controls all aviation laws in Australia. The rules and regulations relating to flying Drones are complex (including insurance liability).

A licenced Drone pilot can fly higher, day or night, closer and very close to airports with the proper CASA approval.

We are fully licenced and skilled to do this.
